Biopsychology

Our biology and psychology are largely developed and optimized in relation to life as hunters and gatherers 700,000 years ago so we have a wide range of genetic dispositions that can be highly inappropriate in relation to the life we have in a modern society. The brain consists of sub-programs that in many ways conflict with each other.
